Dr. Dale Gray
Dr. Dale Gray graduated from Houghton College in Houghton, NY in 1978 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology, Summa Cum Laude. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois in 1982. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Rochester, Rochester General Hospital, and a year as Chief Resident in 1986. He helped open the Crusader Clinic office on Kishwaukee St. in Rockford in 1986, and then worked as a staff physician at the Rockford Clinic from 1988 through 1998. In 1998, he helped start the Hospitalist Program at Rockford Memorial Hospital, and served as its medical director. In 2001, he began his current independent internal medicine practice. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine with the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. Dr. Gray is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Gray is happily married and has 2 children in their 20’s. He is a Christian and active in his local church. He is an avid motorcyclist, and rides a Susuki DL 650 V-Strom.
Emily and Tracy
Emily and Tracy make the practice run. They answer phone calls, takes care of prescription refills, schedule consultations, perform EKGs, room and settle patients, lend a listening ear, and are great encouragers. Emily is also the director of our weight loss program, MD Weight Loss.
Joni is our office manager, billing clerk, receptionist, and all-purpose do-it-all woman. She is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. With many years of experience in medical billing and insurance, she can help you navigate the maze of health insurance payments and plans.
Peggy, Kay, Tracy, and Suzie
Our practice prides itself on having live people answering your phone calls, instead of an impersonal voice mail system. Our front desk staff (Peggy, Kay, Tracy, and Suzie) are efficient and courteous, and will make an appointment, take a message, and help you with your needs.
